I found some really interesting office space last Friday called the SoHo Centre located in West Little Rock. They converted it from a one story real estate office into a two story 80 office complex. Here are a list of the features the SoHo Center offers:
- 5 conference rooms (3 large and 2 smaller ones, 2 have LCD TV’s in them)
- Reception area with free coffee bar
- Break room with vending
- Private Phone line
- Post Office Box
- Copier/Fax machines on each floor
- High Speed Internet Access and wireless throughout building
- NO Parking issues
You can get into their smallest office, which is a 8’ x 7’ office for $199 a month. After doing some searching downtown this is by far the best deal with the nicest amenities I have seen. If you looking for somewhere downtown plan on spending about $300 a month for office space and $100 a month for parking. Most of the buildings are old and haven’t been updated. As more people are being laid off and start developing their own business this type of affordable office space solution will become more relevant. This should really be a project for downtown Little Rock.
