The first hour was all talk about developers for the iPhone, nautrally considering it is a developers conference. The next 30 mins was devoted to talking about Mobile Me which is replacing .Mac, but it’s still $99 a year. The last part was about of course a 3G iPhone, coming. They are replacing the the back cover with a solid black or white plastic cover. Oh the new prices are $199 for 8GB and $299 for 16GB

Why was it disappointing? Dates. iPhone 2.0 software upgrade, Mobile Me, and the iPhone 3G won’t be avaiable until July. At that point I might care enough about 3G or a black back cover. They could have had $199 from me today. Yawn.
